Treasury Department Liberty Loan Campaign Committee Federal Reserve District Number Seven Office of State Chairman for Women #2038 [illegible] Ave Cedar Rapids IA Aug 23rd 18 My dear Mrs. Whitley, I have this morning received a letter from Miss [Illegible] Saying Mrs. [ill] S. [illegible] of Vinton would act as County Chairman and Mrs. Marsh [illegible] me that the same lady has also taken the [illegible] chairmanship for the [liberty?][loan?] Miss [illegible] is now beginning to secure a chairman for [illegible]. I hope this means [illegible] co. is taken care of. I am writing Mrs. [Goodhue?] today. I shall hope to see you in Des Moines at the [Liberty Loan?] meeting. I am glad the [Council?] meeting will be at the same time. Very truly Mrs. R.D. [illegible]
