She had [our? near? over?] 60 enroll, but as I suppose was [true? same?] elsewhere, some found the requirements were beyond [their/them], or changed their minds and [?] onto [or into] other work. Some are still enrolling however, so we hope to raise our number. He arranged for booths at the Cedar Falls Fair for the [?] [?], having exhibits in [?]. Half are Ford [Conservation?] and Tuberculosis Prevention; the work being done entirely by the Cedar Falls Women's [Com?]. Their unit has done considerable work on the Anti-[?] garments and has raised money for expenses by giving a series of small teas. In co-operation with Mrs. Sutter our Home [Derm?] agent, we (our Co-Woman's Com.) are [to?][home?] booths at the Dairy Cattle Congress beginning Sept. 30 and are to distribute Ford Child Welfare and Ed. Prop pamphlets. We are also planning to have our Woman's Com in the Home Coming Parade here in [illegible] next Tues the second day of the show. [illegible] [illegible] has taken up the publishty work for the [Y.M.C.A?] [illegible][illegible][illegible] the county [illegible] of [illegible] & Cedar Falls. Our city organization of almost 307 members under Mrs. [illegible[ & the ward chairman has dne important work for the Red Cross [illegible] Com. in soliciting the [Salvage?] for the [illegible]. They are at-present soliciting our [funding?][pies?] for the Red Cross booth at the Dairy Congress. We raised almost 20 for expenses at a Plaza [illegible] some time ago (St. ? or we would have been richer The College Girls [CMD?] with the aid of Mrs. [illegible[ and Mrs. [Dutter?] canned about 150 quarts of fruit and vegetables that were contributed for the use of soldiers families or other needy people. I know you are tired as well as myself as will cease.
