I am sure there are about twenty available from James Co. inside of the coming year and most of the registered nurses have enlisted long since. All but two of the doctors in the county met & signed up to go if called upon. The other two would have done so had they been there. Have taken over the [whole?] county in Jr. Red Cross & have all but 14 schools enrolled. They are attending to the hog survey and the corn survey as one of their duties. Am getting a certified acceptance from all chairmen on different labors in connection with our work but have suspended action till I see how they decide to handle the associated committees.
