Spencer, Iowa Aug. 15, 1918 My dear Mrs. Whitley; I am so glad to tell you that Mrs. Wm. Milchrist has accepted the Woodbury Co. chairmanship and she is approved by Mrs. Pelletier and Mrs. Stason and will work well with them. Mrs. [Mason?] (our dear Mrs. Marm) was here few days ago and I now have a lovely letter from her saying that she is giving the new chairman in Monona Co., Ms. A.J. Hastings, her full support and help in Onawa and that their Baby work begins next Monday. Writing is finished and the chairman lives at Castana so the Co. work will be cared for. Mrs. Milchrist will rush the work in Woodbury, outside of Sioux City. Mrs. W.A. Sanford in whom [had?] full trust was allowed other things to intervene [full?].. She is now spurred to finish by Sept. 2. Address Woodbury Co. communication to Mrs. Wm. Milchrist 1615 Pearl St. Sioux City Lovingly, Mary C. Cory
