Saving...
the doctors orders to "keep out of things" - but have a splendid worker in her place - Mrs. P.E. Somers - wife of Dr. Somers - both much interested in Child Welfare. Mrs. Dr. Gunn of Deep River is another valueable woman - I believe I told you Mrs. Bushy of Grinnell Brooklyn is working on this committee? Then I have asked Mrs. Dr. Atherton a fine woman of Guernsey (one of our little towns) to act for her township. I have a chairman for each one of the sixteen townships - at least I am writing to ones that I have not already enlisted - so I feel we are getting on our feet in Poweshiek County. Do I have a correct understanding of the matter in that the work is to be done this summer but not set week for it? I plan to publish items relative to the childrens campaign in all papers in the county. Yours lovingly Louise M. Henely
