Sept. 24. 1918. My dear Mrs. Whitley- I had planned on attending the most interesting State meeting of N.C.C.N.D. you are having this week, but owing to several obstacles find it will be probable I shall not attend. For Dickinson Co. I can report a full set of workers, ready to do whatever comes for them to do. Our Club welfare work has gone thru very rapidly and the cards are in shape to forward to Chicago at once. As for clinics etc the Co being [overall?] and in large percent rural nothing of that kind has been [tio't?] necessary, as yet. Our County Food Demonstrator Miss Kirkpatrick spent a very busy summer and we feel accomplished a great deal. We are almost positive we can arrange to have a permanent one in the near future.
