either to our Dist com. meeting at Sioux City or at Des Moines. Mrs. Mae D. said "I couldn't go if they didn't pay mine." I replied "I did go and paid my own." Perhaps you can explain this pull. It surely seems as if the gov't ought to value the work and not pay any or else pay all. I believe Mrs. Mann expects to buy and help on expenses by having a D.A.R Board meeting and of her State [?] at the same time, which I am hoping to attend. Please don't feel that I am "injured" but I don't feel that it's at all just when one compares what the gov't expects of the N.C.C. of N. D and the expenses which we meet constantly. Thanking you.
