Pelletier Aug 8 - 1918 My Dear Mrs Whitley I must [illegible] you for information in regard to the recruiting of nurses. When are we supposed to close the [illegible]? We opened our recruiting station on Monday July 29 and have had a good many applications. The application [illegible] did not come until Friday Aug 2. As it takes some time to have all the requirements met - this [and] [illegible], and High School certificate we are not nearly through with the work nor are we ready to make any [illegible].
