Knoxville, Iowa, January 25, 1918 Mrs. Cora Whitley, Webster City, Iowa My dear Mrs. Whitley: Mr. Orrick, the special representative from Mr. Deem, was here last night and we make final arrangements in connection with our public meeting for the United States Food Administration's Commission to France, on February 13th at 8 p.m. We hope to have a good meeting if the weather permits and I am enthusiastic over our plans. I wish ver much that out state Chairman might be here at that time and visit me in my home. I also want my District Chairman and an writing Mrs. Burberry to come at that time. The County Food Administrators are much better help than I had during the summer and we are getting along splendidly. Lovingly yous, Mrs. M.G. Mackin, Marion County Chairman
