while yet. If it does not it will be settled by a compromise, so I think, but do not think me getting homesick. far from it. yet I would like to enjoy Home priviliges as well as anyone. I sumed it all up before I enlisted so I expect to take it easy, and when there is any fighting to be don, providing I am not sick, count me in for when I enlisted I expected to have some of it to do. while writing the above these words came in to my mind. Forbid it Lord that I should boast, &c. &c. (No Narry boast). Since my return from the Could Water I have had a slight atack of the fever and Flu and the Rheumatism in the Back. I feel purfickly well except my back. for the past three or four days I have been free from all pain I think I will get over it although I do not feel as strong
