Saving...
The head scarves should be in a drawer in my room or in Mrs. Chesleys chest. I want to write to Peggy Cobb tonight if I can before Mary Bess gets home. My health must be good, as she has had a cold for over a week & I've been sleeping with her in a 3/4 bed & haven't gotten it yet. X (crossed fingers) Last night on my way home I brought her a hamburger with onions, & that was a mistake! We have had such balmy weather that the patients have been playing shuffle board outside, but tonight it was sleeting & snowing. I walked home with an officer from Texas who was coming in to Shirley too. When I get settled I'll write a couple of times a week too, as I'm doing now. I'll be anxious to try out the special cable and V-mail arrangements too. I had a bath in the tub last night & it works! Love, Helen
