Saving...
my family. A lot of the people are in the same boat-- as far as I can see. All of us would much rather be with our families than to be away from home-- Especially as Christmas is coming on again. I've had two Christmas's at home in 8 years. Maybe I'm lucky. I'm looking forward to Christmas this year as I did the last. I happened to be in one of the ARC clubs in London on Christmas afternoon-- well to make a long story short I went to a kids party & was a daddy to a little English chap. He was just big enough to sit on a chair & get his chin above the table top. But, he didn't let his plate of turkey get very cold. They had a dinner & then a movie after that. Every one had received some candy & a few little gifts. I had a very pleasant time & I hope to do the same again. Its time to close up shop for the day so I'll sign off for now-- By the way-- Would you give Mr. Shannon my best regards-- As they say in England Cherrio & all the best. Clifford. C.F. Blecha Lt. (jg) U.S.N.
