Belgium 1-1-45 Dear Dave: Was much interested in the copy of "Scuttlebutt" that just came. What in Hell the word means is beyond me New news, new orders, new instructions over here are "Hot Poop" -- The first thing we hear when we go near HQ of a morning is "Well, what's the hot poop this morning, a letter of instructions or a directive etc is a "poop sheet". Have heard a brigadeer general ask "What was that poop sheet we had on" such & such a thing. It is new to this war just like "GI" when referring to enlisted men or issuable equipment or clothing.
