2. the sidewalks. It is so peacefull and quiet around here that it seems more like a rest camp then an air base. At present we have a squadron of Torpedo planes up here in training and it is our job to "keep 'em flying." The only thing I don't like about the place is the rain. It never gets to cold up here which seems odd for as far north as we are. I guess it is really nice in the summertime when it don't rain, hope I'm here long enough to find out for myself. I got a big kick out of your description of what happened when your wife made that date pudding. I guess thats about all for
