4/30/45 Carrier Air Group 82 c/o Fleet Post Office San Francisco, Calif. Dear Dave Just a note to let you know that Scuttlebutt is still arriving on time & with considerable regularity. Even when we're out in "Sudian country", we get air mail every few days. I think the last time I wrote, we were in or around Pearl Harbor. Since then, I have been many places that I never intended to go when I joined the Navy. Our ship and Air Group were in on the Carrier attacks
