[Jan. 10, 1944] Monday Dear Mother, When I took the kodak down to see if it could be repaired they said that I could get it in 1 to 3 months! So I brough it home and took it apart and fixed it. It now works perfectly. Something in the package had pressed against the stutter and bent it so that it scraped and didn't go all the way across. Juliette will sell me a roll of film, so I guess I'll try to take it. I may have to send it back later, but ought to get some pictures before that. I didn't have time today to phone about the package, but will ask tomorrow. Love, Helen
