P.S. We just finished a party in my room with rum & coca cola. It's late! ARC 32061 91st General Hospital APO 9648 c/o Postmaster, New York, N.Y. Feb 15, 1944 Dear Mother, I was delighted today to get two letters from you, numbers 35 & 36. The box of fudge hasn't arrived. Please don't worry about me, as I have been having a swell time. The food is excellent, the living conditions even luxurious, and the company of the best. It's wonderful. I mailed you a card with my APO number, which you should use in addressing mail to me. I won't send it to many until I get my permanent one. Two of the girls in my unit have been urging me to go home with them and I may do so next time we get passes. I shouldn't have any more shopping to do, but it is funny how things start giving out. The picture of Pam is a darling. I think she looks ever so much like Harriet, don't you? If the locker comes home it will be unlocked. To open it just bounce up & down on it a couple of times. I don't know that it will come, however. I got out to Forest Glen all right & had a fine time. I loved it, but it wasn't what I came in for and I know I'll make new friends I'll like just as well. I'm soaking up new experiences like a sponge, & it will
