Saving...
2 take years for me to tell you all of them. My cold is all gone and we are having fun hiking around the camp and going to movies. What a time Betty & Wil have! I can't imagine anything worse than those children with the chicken pox. Which of the mystery stories did you read, or was it one I haven't seen? I think two suitcases should arrive before long by express and you ought to enjoy the books in them. Yes, I learned to play gin rummy, & beat the poor fellow who was teaching me. I may phone you, as your letter sounded receptive. I'll have to see. I'm glad Nora is in Red Cross. I was afraid she's wait too long. S.A.F. stands for Service to the Armed Forces. I heard Little Jack Little when he was at Forest Glen. His jokes off the air were better than those on. I was addressed by first name by many, "Ma'am" by many , "Honey", "Sweetheart" and even "Snooky". Those fellows are rare. I'm enclosing the certificate the ward called "Blockbusters" gave me. The one signing it was the gambler I mentioned. Being "G. I." is what one avoids at all costs. It includes snobbishness, stuffiness & general regimentation. Love, Helen
