so that the phone call and the express packages won't embarrass you financially. I'm going to have my hair cut tomorrow. It's awful how fast it grows. I don't suppose it would be necessary, but I hate to have to keep pinning it up. Maybe you'd like to know how the girls look. Joyce is small, dark & very pretty. Genevieve is blonde, medium height & also pretty. Helen is medium dark, wears glasses and has very much of the same type of humor that I indulge in. We also like to hike -- fast. Linden is tall and rangy and slow. Her tendency to take things literally gives us all some good fun. A couple of nights ago the man who takes care of the heating system must have been drunk, because he alternately sang raucous songs and piled on the fuel. We were all just gasping and Lin spent much of the night moving her bed. She reminded me of you in your roving days. Think I'll take a nap now. Love, Helen
