Thursday, Feb. 17 [1944] Dear Mother, I got your letter 37 today, also one from Roberta, one from Juliette, a card from June & one from Fran Ewinger. I'm going to send them my APO & make them mad. I'm so glad you heard from Grace and Jim. I'd been wondering about them. What does Grace hear from her brother who was in Puerto Rico? The fudge is all gone, and was much appreciated. Several of the girls I've met were from Iowa & especially liked the black walnuts. I haven't much I can say now, especially since we had a phone conversation after the time you wrote your last letter. I'll just drop a line or so when I can. Time for bed now & a busy day ahead so goodnight & Love, Helen
