Mrs. W. H. Fox 315 Golfview, Iowa City, Iowa Helen Fox, ARC 91st Gen. Hosp. APO - 9648 c/o Postmaster N.Y. March [redacted], 1944 Dear Mother, I have had a very pleasant trip, and seemed to be a better sailor than on previous crossings. At least, I haven't slept so much, and have been more active. We had a very nice bridge game last night. Johnnie and I played with two British officers and upheld our side very well. We are to teach them fan-tan later. Your card and letters and Betty's letter came to me about the middle of the crossing and were most welcome. Love, Helen
