in the open. It isn't as well preserved as the other [Carnaervon], though. On the way back, where we changed busses we ate dinner. It was in a lovely hotel, where we had lime and gin before the big fireplace, then roast beef, cauliflower & carrots, grapefruit cocktail, and for dessert a Triple Chantilly with whipped cream. Then into the lounge by the fire again for demi-tasses of delicious coffee. We came on home and found that our bicycles had arrived. I like mine a lot, and believe it is even easier riding than my other. It is a Raleigh, and has hand brakes, a head & tail light, tools and a pump. Altogether it cost just about £9. I was delighted. Mrs. Aronson had met the train to get hers, and had asked two other nurses to get mine & the one Helen Ciancimino was getting. There were quite a few of the nurses
