Saving...
who got them. One of the officers took a detail of men to a city [Bristol] to get them for us. Today we rode quite a little. I went to the nurses' morning lectures today. Usually one of us covers them in case there is something we ought to know. Then I came home, puttered around the room a little, went to noon mess (where we had steak, and pineapple for dessert). After lunch Linden and I went over to Mrs. Aronson's billet to get the two bicycles. We rode around a little. Then I took a nap and finished a French novel I got in London. After supper, Genevieve and Helen and I went riding on a lovely, scenic road. Helen is just learning to ride, so wasn't too pleased by the steep grades.
