work. After that we came back & had a meal of fish & chips and coffee. Today I took a walk into a beautiful rock garden [(called Happy Valley above Llandudno) full of grassy banks sprinkled with daffodils and with all sorts of flowering shrubs and green trees. The robins and wrens and blackbirds were all singing, as well as many birds I didn't recognize at all, I guess I'll have to get a bird book. A couple of days ago Helen Ciancimino and I enjoyed feeding the birds crumbs in the same garden. They were so tame they'd come right to our feet. Some of them that seemed to be a kind of warbler, were especially lovely. One kind was blue, rose, green, tan, black & white, and still not gaudy!
