Saving...
put through regular channels. At any rate the telephone bill was correct. The last letters were to be held for several days after we left before being sent. It will be horrid not to be home this summer, but we will have that to look forward to. It seems ages since I left, because of the many interesting happenings. However, each day goes rapidly. Of course it is all right to spend the money. I hope you will use whatever you need, especially to get help on the things that I can't lend a hand with now. The checks should be for fifty dollars now. Are they? I'm sorry to hear about the Minors. I wondered if something were wrong when they never asked me out after having been so sociable in Iowa City. Nice letters from Kenneth and Agnes. I think I'd like her. I haven't heard the radio at all. We have one that we'll start using when we get located. My knee is OK now. Not even a scar. The only scar I have at present is on the other leg where I burned it on a heater in London.
