Maureen yesterday. She had lost the envelope with my APO on it so she hopped the morning steamer and went to a Red Cross Club she'd heard about to get me looked up. It was the same club where I'd had coffee and doughnuts on disembarking. Some irony! The coffee wouldn't give anyone a jag. Incidentally, I've found lime and gin very good before dinner. My tastes are becoming broadened. Tomorrow Linden & I are talking to the nurses' group of the unit. I'm going to discuss ward activities & Lin will tell about the recreation hall. Helen Cinciamino is going to talk about Oxford, which she has been looking up about, and about our trip to London.
