Dear Dad Have just received a fine lot of mail and was sure glad to get it as we had two days of hard work this week driving the [Basche?] we have him hollering Peace too so we are pretty well satisfied with our work. I can tell you a little about where we have been now. We first entered the trenches on Feb 21 in Lorraine we were in for 110 days and it was there I was gassed When I came back the Co. were in Champagne before Chaloux and we stopped a drive
