Dear Dave,
Just a few lines to let you know that I'm still receiving ScuttleButt & enjoying it very much.
My outfit moved from near Magdeburg Germany to this location around the first of June.  We are processing vehicles that were to go over seas to the SP. & C.B.I  We had processed quite a number of vehicles up until the Japs called off her fighting.  We're still processing a few & as soon as were thru We may get to go home.  Hope.  I expect to get home one way or another before too long either by points or by finishing this job.
I guess after the last of Sept you can stop my copy of the paper.  As I expect to be started for home.
