September 7 [1945] Dave, I plan to return home before long so please stop sending the Scuttlebutt. I've been transferred from the 90th infantry division to the 16th armored division. They are scheduled to sail about the 21st this month. I have 82 points & lets hope they don't waste any time in getting to the states. Thanks, Bill Crandall [Pfc. Wm. Crandall]
