Sept 30, 1945 Sunday Hello Dave: At last I'll see if I can get a letter off to you to at least let you know I'm getting the S.B. again. Thank you. I really missed them. I have two drips before me now. I see you're gyping yourself a drip you have both Sept 14th + 21st labled the 77th Drip. Just thought I'd mention it Ha! I should get the next one tomorrow or tuesday. Things are beginning to pop around here. Today is the date set for inactivation of the field. Starting the 10th all permanent party are to ship to other fields in the E.F.T.C. (Eastern Flying Training Command) Texas, Ga, Ala, Tenn, & even Florida. I learned yesterday that I was among approx. 50 men chosen to remain here as a
