Saving...
out of line & have a cocky attitude. We have Germans here working in the Officers Mess now. A couple of weeks ago we went over to Half Moon Bay & looked up Tommy Stewart. It was nice to see him, thanks to Scuttlebutt. I believe he's on furlough now, but we have hopes of seeing him when he returns. Since gas rationing is a has been we've been enjoying this part of Calif. a lot more. Ed had a 3 day leave so we drove to Yosmite & had a grand time. Ed has 2 Saturday afternoons off & works one, so we usually go to San Francisco, or some place. Well I must say this is getting lengthy so if you'll please change the address & continue sending Scuttlebutt we'll appreciate it. Thank you. Tell the office force hello. Sincerely, [Nella?] & Ed Brown [Lt. E. D. Brown] P.S. Dave we have about 3 generation of a cat family out here in the neighborhood, would you be interested, if so--let me know!
