-2- Lots of souvenir shops, so I naturally had to stop at them and shop. These Igorot natives are very interesting. The men still wear only a shirt and some kind of 'G' string. Went through a nice Catholic cathedral up here. And in one of the shops we found a white man. He was a Jewish refugee. Don't know just how he came to be up here though. Funny experience happened to me. On the way up here we stopped in different towns and got refreshments at the Red Cross Clubs. In one of them I was looking through a "States" book and found Bill Arnold's name near the last of the Iowa names so thought he must have been around just recently. Then last night in the Recreation Hall I thought I saw him; but he went out before I got around to really seeing if it was him; but this morning I went to the Registration Office and found that he had been here; but had left the day before I got here. If it hadn't of been for seeing that guy last
