Saving...
Yes I knew that Enenson boy, he was one of the Eldorado kids who used to come to school with Eddie Steudel. Expect he'll be returning home soon as he is due for a rest. His is a strenuous job and I hope he gets a nice furlough. I had a chance to get some stamps for you the other day they are very ordinary ones but I dont think you have any like them. Guess they'll go thru all right cant see any reason for them not to. Hope to get some good souvenirs before I get out of here. That was a good picture of Clare Cullins in clipping he looks as tho he'd lost a lot of weight. kind of like to have gotten in that kind of an [?] but I couldn't have done as well as I have in th[?] Air Corps. At least from the money end of it, this army is all the breaks a fellow gets and so far Ive been very lucky. There was mention of Capt. Brueland in an article in the Sat. Evening Post a while back too, of course I noticed Callender and wondered then if you saw it. He's made a fine record with his flying hope he gets back to the general store in Callender to tell the Norweigens about it. Well I guess there is no news, also had letters from Mrs. Lynch, IVy, Chas. Kaeppel and one from little Danny Danofrio, the little barber I used to speak about in my old squadron. Got a kick out of his letter, just like he used to talk, never finishes out a word, his sister is his sist- a screw driver is a screw drive- etc. Will close for tonight Love Johnny
