Saving...
and gather up any stray wisps of straw, tear the heads of & stick it in their bag, expect then they flail out those heads by hand, sure a lot of hand work. Looks like a pretty fair crop. Today we can get our P.X. rations must hurry up and get in line for it or I'll be last. Would certainly like to have a business where the customers are as anxious to spend their money and kick so little about anything they can get. Most of the fellows have plenty of money and little to spend it for so it burns holes in their pockets. Will have to close pretty soon an go take a shower. Im sure dusty and grimy, just like Id been stacking straw all day. Greasy too I washed up all my tools in gas today, dont like to work with greasy, sticky ones. Cant do any too good when they are at best. Took some pictures today surely hope they came out well as they are some I've wanted. One of the Louies took them & promised he'd save some for me, hope he doesnt forget. Will quit for now-- Love Johnny
