Saving...
bear down mighty hard. I expect Dick is too small to push that big mower. I reckon you had such trouble with a small fat boy a few years back at least with the trimming around the bushes and picking up sticks. I've been getting your letters all right but I am just behind with my writing. Seems as tho the spare moments never come. Got your June twenty sixth one with all the clippings in it today, also got the Des Moines paper you had sent today. Still havent got my licorice but am looking forward to it, thats something you could send me regularly if you can get it and our postmistress puts her okay on it. That must be a honey of a barn Backenstadt is building maybe someday Ill have one like that too. Glad the heifers are doing so well, Nellie can watch out for them, does she have her chickens over there again this year? I didnt know Alice had been sick she always looked like a healthy individual to me, do hope she gets along well. She certainly should go to Rochester where they can find out exactly whats wrong with her. Tell Mrs. Lynch I've received her weekly letters and enjoyed them and will answer as soon as I can. Im getting sleepy--- Love Johnny
