Saving...
Philpot talk. He is about 6 ft 4 tall and otherwise the same shape as Billy Darnell. And talk, he can beat Prof. Leeper. And he has about the same kind of a moustache. He has a vocabulary of his own too but means everything he says. When I come home I'll tell you some of his phrases. If a forenoon passes without his giving us a short speel we all feel as tho we have missed something and we have indeed. Commencing tomorrow we drill 8 hours a day for I don't know how long. That will be pretty hard work, too. We have a 16 year old rookie in our squad. He, Lee Gregory and I sleep together. I broke my cot someway and we have put the other two side by side so it makes a regular bed. Its warm sleeping that way too. Fred I wish were three years older so that you could be with me. We would sure have some great times believe me. Well [Fred] Frity. I must close for now. Answer real soon and so will I. Tell me about all the kids and your football game. Lovingly Tom.
