Sun pm Dec. 23-17 Dearest folks at home:- Well as I have nothing to do until time for retreat I'll start this at least. I was to church this morning. This Battalion has our own Chaplin and he seems o be a very nice fellow to. Preached a very nice Christmas sermon this morning. The Y.M.C.A. was nearly full. Tonite there will be a Christmas program by some children from town and you bet I'm going if I can possibly get away. We got out of quarantine Monday and now are back in again since yesterday. Don't that beat the luck, though. Last night a bunch of us were over to the Y.M.C.A and heard a man talk who worked among the British military camps. He gave
