Hall is decorated and we are going to have an eight o'clock supper tonight. Something pretty fancy too I guess. Then they have 260 lbs of turkey for us for dinner tomorrow and lots of other goodies too, I suppose. Oh, the candy the fellows are getting. Everybody is getting boxes from home. We sure have our fill of it. I got the sweater today with the fudge. The sweater is a fine fit. I have two, now. The red cross gave several of the soldiers sweaters and I was lucky enuf to get one. Also got a pair of wristlets along with it. I hardly ever use them, though. Mamma, you could knit me a pair of gloves if you want to. I have plenty of socks. Six paris of heavy part woolen ones. Friday they issued us three suits of heavy underwear and five pairs of socks. Also a blue hat cord which we have to wear. Regular doughboy style. I kinda hate to quit wearing my Cavalry one. We are not allowed to wear leather leggings any more. Mine were nearly worn out, anyway. I have all kinds of toilet articles. If you can
