We are studying the angles of firing and degrees of elevation of the machine guns when the target is invisible. I can't give you any details of it to make it plain to you for I don't understand it well enough myself. Some of the problems the Lieutenant works out are surely complicated. We didn't drill only about ten minutes during Mon afternoon for it was too sloppy. But we were on the double time during that ten minutes. Teusday morning we only had a couple of hours of school and fifteen minutes of setting-up exercises in the afternoon. I went on guard at the stables last night or rather this morning from 1 - 5.
