is no corporal of the stable guard and the Officer of the Day hardly ever comes around. I didn't stay down there only an hour and a half but came back and went to bed. I couldn't be bothered staying down there in the cold till 5 o clock when the horses would be all right so therefore I came back to my tent and crawled between the warm blankets. Being on guard I didn't have to get up for reveille so I slept till ten oclock- Gee, that's the first time I've done that for seven months. Gee it doesn't seem like I've been in the service that long- does it to you? How time does fly. We threw the sides of the tent in next to the centre pole- like you saw them at Lone Tree. Otherwise
