along. When not badly scared he'll usually take a couple of short jumps then a long high one and occasionally three or four high leaps in succession bouncing along like a rubber ball. Then he'll wait till the dog is almost upon him and suddenly shoot off at right angles. The chase generally stops then. That ought to be enough concerning rabbits.
