Camp: Cody Feb 14 1917 My Dear Bro Fred & all, Your letter came tonite and I’ll try and answer your questions as best I can. Sell those wheels and any other part or all of my bicycle for whatever you can get out of it. You can have half of what you get for it. As regards your going to West Point, that is a very serious question and not one to be decided upon quickly. Do you feel that you would be willing to make your future as a soldier? You would be an officer, I know but think: you would be compelled to be away from your home most of the time. Think it over very seriously with yourself. If you were two or three years older you could not do a better thing than to go to West Point. In the meantime prepare yourself
