twenty one days now. Have to carry a rifle too. That's the worst part of it. When we are on guard we can get a pass for the next afternoon from noon till 11 p.m. So yesterday afternoon. "Corker" Fry and I went up town, took in a couple of movies, ate supper, then another movie, then came home and I went right to bed for I was pretty tired. We had some chicken for supper too. Cost $1.00 for four pieces and some bread and butter. That gives you an idea of how they charge for eats here in Deming. Oh it's a fright
