Thurs Night Mar. 14 1918 Dearest Mamma, Papa, and all:- I just wrote a letter to Erna and now will scribble a few lines to you. Got a letter from Erna today. They were all well. I was on guard last night on post No 14 on the second relief. I had to stop all civilians and make them show their pass and certificate of vaccination.
