Jan 2, 1919 Corre, France Dearest Folks at Home, Happy New Year! The New Year started off yesterday with the best day we had had for weeks. It didn't rain a drop all day long for one thing and the surn shone for about a half hour which is another unusual thing in this part of France. Another thing I have to remember it by is that I got a letter from home.- the first one in almost three months. GEE I was surprised to get it. And it certainly looked good
