of about three or four feet. The [biscuits?] were big, too. Everything is is bloom, peonies, wallflowers, trees, heliotrope, and a lovely tree with yellow hanging clusters of flowers like grapes. I'm so glad the wedgewood came. I must drop a line to the man in London who sold it to me. It is a relief to know you can get more oil. It has worried me, although I bet I've been every bit as cold as you since February. We have cosy rooms now with central heat & have lots of bathtubs, etc. When we're around the office, our hut Mrs. Hutchins, who housekeeps for us, serves us tea at 10 and at 3:30. Very nice. We have gotten in well with Lady Willert, whose husband, Sir Arthur is Ministry of Information or something like that. I think our volunteer program is going to work out well, with her advice. She brings us flowers. You don't need the ARC number any more. They know me. I want to write to Betty W. if I can keep awake. Otherwise, later. Love, Helen
