Saving...
worst sofa and two chairs in the lounge. Ted, who works in Jay's kitchen, wants us to come over and eat illegaly often, and offers to send me sandwiches. We were thinking of steaks on our way back from the alert, but there were so many people around we thought we hadn't better. Today in the craft shop I helped men with eleven wallets, a wrist watch band and a picture frame. Tomorrow Jay and I are going boating if it is warm and sun bathe on the way. If it is cold, we'll bicycle to a nice inn and have dinner. Today was supposed to be my day off, but we were restricted to the post, so it didn't seem worth while. I'm writing faster and faster so as to finish before the casino game. Love, Helen P.S. Had a nice letter from Prof. Bush and one from Bea Gray.
