thousand dollar one on health and accident coverage, I think. Good for the wealthy apple! And shame on the Northern Spy. I'll be watching for the [late?] package. They come very fast; all are here except the last. Wednesday it was rather cold but Jay & I went bicycling along a footpath, a canal tow path, over lots of lovely [little?] bridges to an old [inn?] (along side Trout Inn). A big bunch of Norwegians were there, eating in celebration of their Independence day, so we couldn't have dinner there as we'd planned. We came back to town and ate at a restaurant & then home to a bath & bed. Thursday Lin & I went to town to confer with Jean Anderson, one of the program people at the Red Cross Club there. We had lunch with her and she gave us lots of contact for talent. I opened the craft shop as on the last few days, from three thirty to four thirty, & had lots of customers. At night I went to a dance at the English Speaking Union and had a nice time. They had only a few nurses, quite a few civilian girls & mothers
