half to this shop to sell. The proprietor was very glad to hear hat you got yours safely and liked it. I'm going to try sending you a post card with this letter. If it is successful, I'll send some more of my favorites. Maybe you'll recognize places I talked about bicycling to. The cliff in this first card is where we fed the sea gulls. The whole vicinity is heavenly, and I want to go back. Elaine Hervert? (Iowa City) brought me a whole bunch of Press Citizens and I'm going to pass them on. Ted wants them, J. says. I have a stand-in where it does the most good and can go over for a steak or for ice cream whenever I want to late at night. It is nice and warm today, and my (funny?) garden is up. Tommy's garden, which is next to it, has a rock garden in the center and corn around it. Mine isn't quite that funny. My English friend called me and is going to call for a date sometime in a few days. I sent home an extra hundred dollars today, by means of the army. It should get there in about three weeks. I was just getting weighted down with cash, strange to say. Love Helen
