was a Brooklynite named Ingleberg, who is a professional dancer under the name of Chico. As Jay says, he has practiced being a Latin so much that now he smolders quite easily. He wanted to make a knit tie, and I wish you could have seen him with pink needles. The size yarn we had wasn't right however, so he is going to do something else. The other was an artist named De Marks, who has a moustache just the right size and wavy blond hair. He is conceited as the devil, but fun to watch. He made us a poster for our shop door and two for a party. It was very entertaining to see him do it, every stroke sure and just right, and the idea unique and striking. He does magazine lay-outs and movie sets. Friday night Polly, Joyce (Saindon?), the anesthetist, Genevieve and Jan & I had a party and ate the jar of herring someone had sent Jay. We also had coffee, cookies, taffy, bread & butter and raisins. Some were gifts and some were snitched, e.g. the butter. Last night I played games with the men in the lounge. It was the
